Why Spring is the Perfect Time to Detox

Spring is the perfect time to release, reset, and step into a more vibrant version of yourself.

Important tips for your detox :
Please don’t change anything else you are doing regularly. Keep taking your usual medications and supplements. The frequencies go on top of anything else you are doing.
During the 11 days, you might feel nothing at all, or you might have detox symptoms. You might get a headache, you might taste metal in your mouth, you might be tired. All these experiences are normal. However, if you are sensitive, and you start to struggle with tiredness, feeling off, or upset in any way that becomes too intense, please MESSAGE me right away and I can slow the process down for you.
For the Heavy metal detox part of the program (the first 2 days) please do at least ONE but preferably ALL THREE of these
– Take charcoal – 1 or two capsules once daily
– Heavy metal detox smoothie. Make the ‘Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie’ and drink it in the morning instead of breakfast. You can do this the whole 11 days if you want to.
– Take a hot bath, as hot as you can stand, with 1 quart of organic apple cider vinegar in it. Stay in the bath until it cools down to body temperature (about 40 minutes). Drink water before the bath and after but not during. You want your body to get hot, then cool down to room temperature. The toxins leave through the skin, but only once the body is back to normal temperature.
For the Duration of the Cleanse:
Listen to you Body
1) If you need to sleep more, SLEEP MORE. Your body is working hard and might need extra rest.
2) Drink extra water each day. Have a water bottle with you at all times so you can sip or drink when you are thirsty. Have your bottle within arms reach. Drink until your thirst is satisfied. Add lemon juice if you wish.
3) If you are hungrier than usual, then eat more, do not try to ‘lose weight’ while on the protocol.
4) If you lose your appetite that is ok, just have some extra fluids during that ‘fasting’ time.
Assist your body
5) Take a ‘binder’ - this is an inert substance you eat, that helps your body by attaching to toxins in the gut and then passing them out the digestive tract (see links to supplements on the webpage linked below). Charcoal, Zeolite or Healing Clay
Take any of the binders away from your medications and supplements by at least 2 hrs. Taking charcoal before exercise is best, but anytime is good.
6) Make the ‘Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie’ and drink it in the morning instead of breakfast for as much as you can of the 11 days. Or drink any fruit smootie. The fruit pectin in any fruit smoothie assists your body to remove the toxins.
7) Heat Therapy - Heating pads for comfort can be helpful
8) Sweat therapy. If you can have a sauna once or twice during the 11 days that would be awesome. An infra red sauna is even better. For example at Olympic Spa in Koreatown, you can book a treatment then go into the infrared sauna and sweat it out. No Sauna? Then use a steam shower, a hot tub or take a HOT bath. Or exercise until you sweat, then take shower immediately and wash the sweat off
9) Baths: Epsom salt baths during the process as often as you like.
10) Juicing : drink freshly juiced fruit and vegetables to nourish your system
11) GUT : Take Probiotics, make things easy on your gut during the process. Supplement of good plain yoghurt. If you get Constipated, take something to ‘ease things along’ like Triphala herb in capsules before bed.
12) Sun exposure. Reset your circadian rhythm so your body gets happier :)
13) Please avoid alcohol for the whole 11 days.
